About Su Lin

Su Lin Casanova is a self-taught oil painter based in Mexico. She trained in archaeology before she painted, and she still works in layers, building and excavating at once.

She paints figurative realism, with echoes of the Renaissance in some pieces, interrupted by a glitch or a layer of latex. She has been selling her work since 2020.
